The Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to monitor and maintain the performance and security of our infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to system alerts, ensuring seamless monitoring of infrastructure components, and overseeing the progress of developer deployments. You will also monitor and optimize the performance of nodes and servers to ensure high availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance and security of infrastructure, ensuring it meets operational standards.
• System Alerts: Respond to system alerts in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and mitigate risks.
• New Infrastructure Coverage: Implement monitoring solutions for new infrastructure elements as they are deployed.
• Deployment Progress: Oversee the progress of developer deployments, ensuring smooth integration into the existing infrastructure.
• Performance Optimization: Raise and monitor the performance of nodes and servers, addressing issues proactively to maintain optimal functionality.

About You

• Technical Expertise: You have experience in networking, Linux utilities, Kubernetes (k8s), and DBA tasks.
• On-Call Experience: You are comfortable with on-call duties, responding quickly to critical system issues.
• Blockchain Knowledge: Familiarity with blockchain technologies is an advantage.
• Linux & Cloud Computing: Basic understanding of the Linux kernel and cloud computing principles.
• Programming Skills: Semi-advanced proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, C, or C++.
• Independent & Responsible: You thrive in an environment where you are given autonomy, and you take ownership of your work, delivering high-quality results with minimal guidance.
• Languages: You are fluent in Russian and proficient in English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
• Quality-Driven: You enjoy testing your code and take pride in ensuring it works flawlessly.
