The Role

Whales Corp. is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in TypeScript to join our growing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to building and maintaining robust backend systems, supporting our cutting-edge fintech products.

About You

• TypeScript Expertise: You possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience with TypeScript for backend development.
• Database Proficiency: You have solid experience working with both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational(MongoDB) databases.
• Cloud Platforms: You are familiar with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Heroku.
• Backend Architecture: You understand and have experience with backend scaling principles and architecture design.
• Autonomous & Responsible: You thrive in a self-guided work environment, taking full ownership of your tasks while maintaining high standards of work.
• Languages: You are fluent in Russian and have a good command of English.
• Optional: Basic knowledge of Golang is a plus.
• Quality Focused: You are passionate about testing your code and take pride in delivering clean, efficient, and working solutions.
